Next year's Rugby World Cup in Australia has lured some of the very top NRL talent across the great code divide, and All Blacks star Jordie Barrett expects the new recruits to be "outstanding" in the 15-man code.

All Blacks back Jordie Barrett has praised NRL recruits transitioning to Australian rugby union ahead of the Rugby World Cup, predicting Angus Crichton will be outstanding. Speaking ahead of the final Bledisloe Cup clash in Sydney, Barrett highlighted the successful transitions of players moving codes and noted Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii's ongoing weekly improvements.
Crichton is preparing to join the NSW Waratahs for the 2027 Super Rugby Pacific season after winning an NRL title with the Sydney Roosters. Barrett also praised former Wallabies back Mark Nawaqanitawase, who recently signed with Japanese club Saitama Wild Knights.
