Exeter Chiefs boss Rob Baxter has ruled England flyer Immanuel Feyi-Waboso out of Sunday’s Champions Cup trip to Toulouse, but a scan cleared him of serious hamstring damage.

Exeter Chiefs wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso has been ruled out of Sunday's Champions Cup clash with Toulouse due to a hamstring issue. However, a scan cleared him of serious damage, prompting an England physio to visit and assess the player. Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter indicated the injury is not a long-term problem and hopes the winger will return for their upcoming match against Bristol Bears.
Feyi-Waboso limped off in Exeter's recent Gallagher Premiership win over Newcastle Red Bulls after previously scoring two tries against Bath. The Chiefs face an injury crisis out wide with Campbell Ridl, Olly Woodburn, and Paul Brown-Bampoe also sidelined. Exeter is also set to sign André Goedhals from the Pumas to reinforce their second row.
