Two absentee players have been included by Lions coach Ivan van Rooyen in a 30-man squad for the Joburg-based outfit’s maiden Investec Champions Cup clash on Saturday.

Lions coach Ivan van Rooyen has named a 30-man touring squad for the club's Investec Champions Cup debut against La Rochelle on Saturday at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre. The squad receives a major boost with the return of utility back Erich Cronjé and lock Etienne Oosthuizen from injury, alongside the inclusion of center Bronson Mills, who is set for his first appearance of the season.
The 30-man group includes 18 forwards and 12 backs, captained by Francke Horn and featuring Springboks Boan Venter, Sikhumbuzo Notshe, Morné van den Berg, and Quan Horn. Prop Sebastian Lombard was ruled out due to an ankle injury sustained against the Bulls.
