Lions head coach Ivan van Rooyen and teammate Richard Kriel have praised 19-year-old center Ethan Adams following his impressive start in the United Rugby Championship. Adams, who debuted against Leinster and played 80 minutes against Ospreys, is scheduled to start at inside center against the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in a Round Three clash.

Adams will partner with Henco van Wyk in the midfield against Harold Vorster and Stedman Gans. Van Rooyen explained that injuries, including Bronson Mills' absence, accelerated Adams' playing time, noting that managing the teenager's minutes will be evaluated as other players return to full health.
