NEWS: Rugby Union's latest trophy has been revealed.

The newly introduced Nations Championship Hemisphere Shield has been officially unveiled ahead of the inaugural Finals Weekend in November at Allianz Stadium in London. The shield represents a collective competition between the Northern and Southern hemispheres. After three rounds of the Southern Series in July, the competition between North and South stands tied at nine wins each.
The Hemisphere Shield will be decided across six north-versus-south fixtures offering a total of seven points. Individual match winners from seeds two through six earn one point, while the first-seed clash awards two points. The first hemisphere to reach four points will claim the shield alongside the primary Nations Championship Trophy.
