Part of the main stand was secured and closed to the public for around 30 minutes

Emergency services treated a supporter who became seriously unwell at Stade Marcel-Deflandre ahead of the Champions Cup match between La Rochelle and the Lions. Paramedics and firefighters secured part of the main stand for around 30 minutes, and the individual's heart reportedly restarted before they were transported to a hospital in La Rochelle.
The medical emergency occurred on an emotional day as the Lions chose to play following the death of 31-year-old lock Andrews, who died after a fall at the team hotel. Both clubs held pre-match tributes and a minute's silence, and La Rochelle eventually won the fixture 31-14.
