363 days on from the heartbreak of a narrow defeat in the inaugural Super Rugby AUS Grand Final, the Western Force have gone one better.

The Western Force claimed the 2026 Super Rugby AUS title with an emphatic 53-26 victory over the defending champion NSW Waratahs at Scotch College in Perth. Winger Dylan Pietsch starred with a hat-trick, while Wallace Charlie scored two tries as the Force captured their first silverware in seven years.
Guided by key contributions from Kurtley Beale and captain Nic Dolly, the Force built a rapid 26-0 advantage in the opening half. Despite response tries from Charlie Bird and Hadley Tonga for the Waratahs, the Force dominated the contest to surpass the 50-point mark and avenge their 2025 Grand Final defeat.
