Potential new role for Wallabies star

Wallabies coach Les Kiss is considering shifting outside center Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii to the wing for Sunday's Test against the Springboks in Perth. If confirmed, this would mark the 23-year-old's first Test start outside of the No 13 jersey since switching codes in late 2024, having started 22 of his 24 Tests at outside center.

The tactical adjustment is expected to move Len Ikitau back to outside center, allowing Hunter Paisami to start at inside center. Suaalii's aerial prowess is cited as a major motivation for the shift to counter South Africa's contested kicking game.
