TRANSFER NEWS: The Stormers will add some muscle to their second row stocks.

Sharks lock Corné Rahl has completed a permanent move to the Stormers and will officially link up with the Cape Town squad in July 2027 at the end of the current season. The 24-year-old forward, who stands 2.03 meters tall and weighs 122 kilograms, hails from Montagu in the Western Cape and will bolster the franchise's second-row options.
Stormers Director of Rugby John Dobson welcomed the signing, highlighting Rahl's physical presence, strong work rate, and long-term potential following the departures of Salmaan Moerat and Ruben van Heerden to French clubs. Rahl expressed excitement about securing his future while committing to finish the ongoing campaign with the Sharks.
