PREM Rugby revenues have beaten forecasts by £7.8 million as the league reported improving finances across all 10 clubs ahead of the 2026/27 season.

PREM Rugby has reported significant improvements in the financial health of its clubs ahead of the 2026/27 season, with revenues exceeding forecasts by £7.8 million in the 2025 financial year. All 10 clubs passed the Financial Monitoring System, while the competition generates more than £260 million as it enters its 30th season. Combined club losses are also forecast to drop by £26.7 million between FY23 and FY27.
The improved financial outlook follows substantial outside investment, including Red Bull backing Newcastle, Sir James Dyson purchasing a 50 percent stake in Bath, and Black Knight Rugby acquiring Exeter Chiefs. External debt is projected to fall by 26 percent, reliance on shareholder support is halving, and stadium occupancy reached 82 percent in the 2025/26 campaign.
