All Blacks coach Dave Rennie has confirmed when flyhalf Richie Mo'unga is expected to play again and explained why lock Jamie Hannah was preferred to Sam Darry and Patrick Tuipulotu.

All Blacks coach Dave Rennie has revealed that flyhalf Richie Mo'unga is targeting a return against Wales after being sidelined with a calf tear. Mo'unga will miss the upcoming Test against Scotland on November 7 but was included in New Zealand's 36-man squad for the European leg of the Nations Championship.
Rennie also explained his squad selection at lock, opting for 21-year-old Jamie Hannah over Sam Darry and Patrick Tuipulotu. Hannah was praised for his physical edge following Canterbury's NPC campaign, while Tuipulotu missed out despite returning to running after a calf injury.
