Former England scrum-half Danny Care says "some of the powers that be" at Saracens have "let the players down".

Former England scrum-half Danny Care stated on the BBC's Rugby Union Weekly podcast that Saracens management has let players down following off-field distractions. The club began the season with a 40-38 victory over Leicester before suffering a 21-17 home defeat against Sale.
Ahead of the Sale match, returning director Brendan Venter reportedly refused media duties and faced confusion regarding his job title, which Saracens clarified as head of culture and technical director. Chief executive Ed Coetzee confirmed the position includes significant media duties, while Care argued these off-field issues placed unnecessary pressure on the squad.
