Jonathan Roche and Leolin Zas scored a brace apiece in the Stormers’ Investec Champions Cup opening win over the Bristol Bears at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

The Stormers opened their Investec Champions Cup campaign with a dominant 49-12 bonus-point victory over the Bristol Bears at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday. Jonathan Roche and Leolin Zas scored two tries each, with Seabelo Senatla, Warrick Gelant, and André-Hugo Venter also crossing the whitewash. Flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu successfully converted all seven tries in the rout.
John Dobson's side secured the win despite enduring disciplinary setbacks, including a 20-minute red card for hooker JJ Kotzé and a yellow card for Zas. Bristol answered with tries from Joe Owen and Sol Moody but struggled with key absences, leaving the Stormers to claim a comfortable opening victory ahead of their upcoming European clash against Bordeaux Bègles.
