Archie van der Flier is relishing the chance to test himself against Europe’s best as Leicester Tigers begin their Champions Cup campaign against Pau today.
Leicester Tigers prop Archie van der Flier is relishing the front-row battle as his team kicks off their Champions Cup campaign against Pau at Stade du Hameau. Managed by Geoff Parling, the English side travels to France for the 1:00 PM kickoff, with the young prop focused firmly on Europe.
Van der Flier, who is reportedly eligible for both England and Ireland, faces an eventual international choice between building on his England A caps or representing Ireland alongside his cousin Josh van der Flier. However, the 24-year-old prop remains intent on testing himself against continental opposition with Leicester Tigers.
