Santi Carreras has stated he believes Bath possess the quality and squad depth necessary to mount a serious challenge for the Champions Cup. The Argentine back revealed he has dreamed of lifting European rugby's premier club trophy since watching the tournament on television as a teenager in Cordoba.
Bath are targeting their first title in the competition in 28 years, having last claimed the trophy in a 19-18 final victory. Carreras hopes to help the West Country club make a strong start to end the recent domination of French clubs.
