England have called up Gloucester fly-half Charlie Atkinson to replace Northampton Saints playmaker Fin Smith in their training squad. Smith suffered a calf injury while playing against Leicester Tigers in the Gallagher Premiership and will remain with England to continue his rehabilitation.
The update comes as England opened a three-day training camp at Pennyhill Park to prepare for the upcoming Nations Championship. England are scheduled to face Australia at Allianz Stadium on Sunday, November 8, before upcoming fixtures against Japan and New Zealand.
