MATCH REPORT: The Sharks maintained their winning start to the United Rugby Championship season with a 26-20 victory over Leinster in Round Two at Kings Park.

The Sharks defeated defending champions Leinster 26-20 in Round Two of the United Rugby Championship at Kings Park. After falling behind to an early Robbie Henshaw try, the hosts fought back with scores from Manu Tshituka and Lili Bester to lead 14-7 at halftime. The victory marks the Sharks' second consecutive win of the season and their first win over Leinster since 2023.
Leinster briefly regained the lead in the second half through a Thomas Clarkson try and a Sam Prendergast penalty. However, the introduction of Springbok substitutes like Eben Etzebeth and Ox Nche shifted momentum back to the Sharks. Etzebeth set up captain André Esterhuizen for a try before Edwill van der Merwe scored an intercept try to secure a bonus-point victory, despite a late Leinster score from Jamie Osborne.
