INJURY UPDATE: Stormers attack coach Dawie Snyman provided an update regarding the severity of regular captain Ruhan Nel's calf injury.

Stormers attack coach Dawie Snyman clarified that regular captain Ruhan Nel suffered a small calf injury that caused him to pull out of their Investec Champions Cup match against Bristol Bears. Nel withdrew one hour prior to kickoff, with Wandisile Simelane replacing him at outside center as the Stormers claimed a 49-12 win.
Snyman stated that Nel's withdrawal was primarily precautionary to prevent more severe calf damage, confirming the injury is to the opposite leg of his previous calf issue. While Nel's return timeline remains unconfirmed, the team reported no other new injuries, and Hacjivah Dayimani is expected to return from concussion protocols.
