Stormers load up on Boks for coastal derby against Sharks

Stormers Director of Rugby John Dobson has named a squad featuring 11 Springboks to face the Hollywoodbets Sharks in Round Three of the United Rugby Championship at DHL Stadium on Saturday. Seven Springboks will make their first appearances of the season for the team, while scrumhalf Haashim Pead is set to make his Stormers debut from the replacements bench.

The starting lineup features Damian Willemse at fullback, with Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Cobus Reinach pairing at halfback. Wilco Louw makes his first Stormers start since 2020 at tighthead prop, while Siya Kolisi shifts to blindside flank to accommodate the return of Paul de Villiers. Ruhan Nel captains the side, with veteran hooker Deon Fourie providing cover among the substitutes.
