Stormers boss John Dobson is making a play for a towering member of the Sharks pack to bolster his second-row stocks.

Stormers head coach John Dobson is reportedly targeting Sharks lock Corné Rahl to strengthen his second-row options. According to Rapport, the Cape Town franchise has formally inquired about the 24-year-old forward's future plans in recent weeks, aiming to entice him with the prospect of increased playing time.
Rahl is contracted to the Sharks through June 2027 and faces intense squad competition from the likes of Eben Etzebeth and Jason Jenkins. The 2.03m versatile lock, who can also cover blindside flank, has also attracted reported interest from European champions Bordeaux-Bègles.
