The Ligue Nationale de Rugby released its upcoming schedule on Wednesday, revealing that twelve rounds of the Top 14 season will clash with international fixtures. The major disruption to the French club calendar is primarily driven by the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.
Clubs will be forced to compete during twelve separate matchdays without players selected for national team duty. This high number of scheduling overlaps presents significant challenges for French domestic squads navigating international fixture windows.
