Writer Christy Doran rated every Australian starter and substitute, finding significant disparities across the lineup.

Doran singled out captain Harry Wilson as Australia's best performer with an 8.5/10 rating after scoring a try and making nearly 30 tackles. In contrast, several substitutes received low ratings of 4/10 or 4.5/10, with Doran noting the bench provided very little impact overall.
