After surviving one of the wildest finishes in Test rugby history, several Wallabies stars have hailed their resolve and calm as they held on to secure a famous 42-38 win in bizarre circumstances.

The Australian Wallabies survived a chaotic finish with just 11 men to secure a 42-38 victory over the South African Springboks at Optus Stadium. Australia surrendered most of a 25-point lead in the final 12 minutes as South Africa scored three late tries.
Australia received four late yellow cards shown to Harry Wilson, Ryan Lonergan, Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, and Hunter Paisami. Stand-in captain Jeremy Williams led the side through the closing stages, which included three disallowed tries and communication issues among the officiating crew.
