Andre Agassi reveals what he’s really trying to ‘remind’ Alexander Bublik of at the Laver Cup this week

Team World captain Andre Agassi selected Alexander Bublik to make his Laver Cup debut in 2026. The 29-year-old Kazakhstani player is scheduled to play two matches on the tournament's opening day. Bublik faces Rafael Jodar in singles competition before partnering with Taylor Fritz in doubles against the Team Europe duo of Jakub Mensik and Carlos Alcaraz.

Speaking at the pre-tournament press conference, Agassi discussed Bublik's playing style and unpredictability. Agassi explained that he aims to remind Bublik of his exceptional talent and encourage controlled aggression, emphasizing that players do not need to seek perfection or rely solely on high-risk tennis to win matches consistently.
