It was a superb night for a couple of European football's modern greats.

Kevin De Bruyne scored twice to lead Belgium to a 3-0 victory against Turkey in the UEFA Nations League in Liege, with Romelu Lukaku adding a late third. The victory moved Mark van Bommel's side to second place in League A Group 1 behind France, leaving Vincenzo Montella's Turkey without a point from three matches.
Elsewhere in League B, Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick in Poland's 6-0 rout of 10-man Romania. In Zenica, Edin Dzeko made his final international appearance for Bosnia-Herzegovina during a 1-1 draw with Sweden, receiving a guard of honor following Viktor Gyokeres' opener and Kerim Alajbegovic's equalizer.
