Contractual hurdles remain the main delay as Oliver Bearman balances Haas commitment with long-term podium goals…

Oliver Bearman has admitted that Ferrari will have a significant say in his Formula 1 future as contract discussions continue with Haas. Ahead of the US Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas, Bearman stated that both he and Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu want to keep working together, but remaining contractual sticking points are being managed by his management and Ferrari.
While committed to Haas in the short term, Bearman explained that his long-term goal is to compete for podiums and eventually secure a drive with a top-four team. As a Ferrari junior driver, Bearman acknowledged that Ferrari's involvement remains pivotal in shaping his career and resolving his upcoming contract length.
