Arsenal summer transfer target Vinicius Junior was involved in a bizarre moment on Saturday, going from believing he'd scored to being sent off.

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior had a goal disallowed and was subsequently sent off against Villarreal following a VAR review on Saturday. The Brazilian winger thought he had extended his team's lead after converting a pass from Jude Bellingham, but video replays revealed he had pulled Nathan Saliba by his hair during the build-up.
The red card adds further frustration to a difficult start to the season for Vinicius, who has scored just once in nine games under manager Jose Mourinho. The winger now faces a domestic suspension that could rule him out of the upcoming fixture against Barcelona on October 25.
