Hall had three goals and five points in eight games before he suffered an injury.

Carolina Hurricanes forward Taylor Hall will miss the next few games after suffering an upper-body injury during practice on Tuesday. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour confirmed the setback on Thursday, noting that Hall tweaked something ahead of Tuesday's game against the Boston Bruins. The 34-year-old winger was previously expected to return from a five-game absence before sustaining the new issue.
Brind'Amour indicated that the injury is not believed to be serious, though Hall will remain sidelined for a short period. Hall has tallied five points in eight games this season for the Hurricanes, who sit atop the league standings with a 10-2-2 record.
