Celtic joined in crisis mode by Europa League foes as giants stumble and history maker sacked

Celtic and upcoming Europa League opponents Besiktas and Torreense are facing domestic difficulties ahead of continental fixtures. Celtic suffered a 2-0 defeat to Falkirk, while Besiktas surrendered a two-goal lead to draw with Kasimpasa, slipping six points behind leaders Galatasaray. Besiktas players Murillo and Tiago Djalo expressed frustration over the club's poor away form ahead of their visit to Celtic Park.

Elsewhere in Celtic's Europa League schedule, Portuguese opponents Torreense dismissed manager Luis Tralhao following a poor start that left them 12th in the second division. Tralhao, who previously won the Portuguese Cup against Sporting Lisbon, has been replaced by Joao Nuno. Torreense will face Celtic later in November at a neutral venue in Leiria.
