The Scotland striker made a £7.8million move to the La Liga giants last summer

Former Rangers winger Ted McMinn has offered advice to Scotland striker Robbie Ure following his £7.8 million transfer to Sevilla. McMinn, who moved from Ibrox to Sevilla in 1987 under manager Jock Wallace, warned the 22-year-old forward to ignore the intense Spanish press coverage and avoid stirring up local tensions with rivals Real Betis.
Ure recently made his senior international debut for Scotland in a goalless draw with Slovenia after being called up by manager Sebastien Pocognoli. McMinn believes competing against top La Liga opponents will elevate Ure's game, despite the intense scrutiny and high expectations at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
