The Knicks are still deciding if they will become the first NBA champions to visit the White House under President Donald Trump.
The New York Knicks are currently deciding whether they will visit the White House under President Donald Trump following their NBA championship win. Head coach Mike Brown confirmed on Tuesday during the team's first practice of the season that the organization is discussing the matter internally and will make a collective decision.
No NBA championship team visited the White House during Trump's first presidential term or following his 2024 election victory. Although Trump and Knicks owner James Dolan share a close relationship, the team has yet to finalize plans, with potential visit opportunities aligning with games against the Washington Wizards on December 18 and March 16.
