The Denver Nuggets will be without Julian Strawther indefinitely, after the versatile 24-year-old guard and forward sprained his left knee while playing a preseason game at the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night at Intuit Dome.

Denver Nuggets guard/forward Julian Strawther is out indefinitely after suffering a sprained left knee during Wednesday's preseason game against the Clippers. The team announced on Friday night that the 24-year-old will undergo a reevaluation in six weeks, sidelining him for the start of the regular season where he was expected to contribute off the bench.
Strawther, a former Gonzaga standout selected 29th overall in the 2023 draft, has started 18 games across his three-year NBA career. Last season, he appeared in 57 games for Denver, averaging 7.2 points per contest, and featured in two playoff games before the Nuggets were eliminated by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
