The Seattle Seahawks decided not to sign veteran running back Joe Mixon to their practice squad after he underwent a physical, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The potential free agent addition was contingent on Mixon passing his physical exam. Head coach Mike Macdonald had confirmed that the 30-year-old worked out for Seattle, but the team opted not to finalize the deal.
Seattle has dealt with multiple injuries at running back, with rookie Jadarian Price on injured reserve and Jacardia Wright placed on practice squad IR. To address depth, the Seahawks signed Robert Henry Jr. from Washington's practice squad and reportedly added Dontae McMillan to their practice squad.
