The Bears are acquiring All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Titans, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Chicago Bears acquired All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans on Thursday in a major trade. In exchange for Simmons and a 2028 fifth-round pick, the Bears sent first-round draft picks in 2027 and 2028 along with a 2027 fourth-round selection to Tennessee. Simmons becomes the first defensive tackle in the modern draft era traded for multiple first-round picks.
Simmons, who signed a contract extension through 2030 earlier this season, joins a Chicago defense looking to bolster interior pass rush pressure under coordinator Dennis Allen and head coach Ben Johnson. The move also reunites the 29-year-old defensive tackle with former Mississippi State teammate Montez Sweat on the Bears' defensive line.
