Former Paris Saint-Germain player Jérôme Rothen strongly criticized winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on RMC regarding his recent performances and perceived lack of investment. Despite contending for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, the 25-year-old Georgian international has suffered a dip in form and struggled to make an impact for PSG in recent weeks.
Kvaratskhelia was substituted during Sunday's match against Marseille, after which his replacement, Ferran Torres, scored within seven minutes. Rothen argued that as a Ballon d'Or contender, Kvaratskhelia must show far greater determination and impact whenever he steps onto the pitch.
