Currently 11th in the Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt is going through a turbulent period and has just experienced a major change…

Eintracht Frankfurt has officially separated from sports director Markus Krösche after granting his request to be immediately relieved of his duties. Krösche had served in the role since the summer of 2021, and his departure comes while the club sits 11th in the Bundesliga table.
The club confirmed that Krösche's contract running through June 30, 2028, will be maintained in an adapted form. During his five-year tenure, Krösche helped lead Frankfurt to a Europa League title in 2022, and he is reportedly attracting interest from European clubs including AC Milan.
