Tottenham are aiming to pick up their first Premier League win of the season against Coventry…
Journalist Alasdair Gold reports that Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi is ready to start Mateus Fernandes in his preferred central midfield role against Coventry City. Winless Tottenham enter the Monday fixture at the bottom of the Premier League table, seeking their first league victory of the campaign under De Zerbi.
Fernandes is expected to partner Sandro Tonali due to Rodrigo Bentancur serving a three-match suspension, alongside injuries to Savinho and Lucas Bergvall. The squad is also boosted by the return of Dejan Kulusevski and a fully fit James Maddison.
