Lakers legend Robert Horry has expressed concern over Kevon Looney, questioning whether the veteran big man can survive the season.

Former Los Angeles Lakers forward Robert Horry expressed concern over new signing Kevon Looney's mobility and conditioning during the preseason, stating that the veteran center is "looking old." Speaking on his podcast, Horry questioned whether the 30-year-old big man can hold up for an 82-game regular season and urged the Lakers front office to acquire another center to support Walker Kessler and Looney.
With Kessler sidelined by a finger injury, Looney has started two of three preseason games, while Sandro Mamukelashvili has also seen significant minutes at center, scoring 19 points in a 114-110 preseason win over the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers improved to 2-1 behind 23 points from Luka Doncic as head coach JJ Redick continues fine-tuning his rotation ahead of the regular season opener against the Golden State Warriors.
