The Los Angeles Lakers are managing early injury concerns ahead of the regular season, most notably involving guard Collin Sexton. Head coach JJ Redick revealed that Sexton is considered day-to-day with a lower leg injury and remains a modified participant in practice without scrimmaging. Heavy's Adel Ahmad notes that these absences present chemistry hurdles for the Lakers, who added nine new players to the roster ahead of the upcoming campaign.
