Joel Embiid has revealed plans to play just one of the Philadelphia 76ers' upcoming two games, according to a report from Austin Krell.

Joel Embiid reportedly stated that he plans to play in only one of the Philadelphia 76ers' upcoming back-to-back weekend games. The Sixers are scheduled to host the Milwaukee Bucks on October 24 and the Detroit Pistons on October 25. The team has not yet officially ruled him out or announced which specific contest he will sit out.
According to the report, the planned absence is a workload management measure rather than the result of a new injury or setback. Embiid previously recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds across 33 minutes in Philadelphia's season-opening 106-100 win over the New York Knicks on October 20.
