Vikings Eyeing Former 3,000-Yard, 33-Touchdown QB

The Minnesota Vikings hosted free agent quarterback Cam Miller for a tryout during their bye week on Monday. Miller, a former North Dakota State standout who passed for 3,251 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior in 2024, was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He previously spent time with the Raiders and the Miami Dolphins before being waived in August 2026.

Along with Miller, head coach Kevin O'Connell and the Vikings also brought in wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster, D'Wayne Eskridge, and Dayton Wade for workouts. Dave Holcomb notes it remains unclear if Minnesota is targeting Miller specifically or if the quarterback was primarily invited to throw to the prospective receivers.
