J.J. McCarthy's given the New York Giants a strong warning about new Philadelphia Eagles' starting QB Joe Milton III ahead of Week 9's game.
New York Giants quarterback J.J. McCarthy has warned his team about Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Joe Milton III ahead of their upcoming NFC East matchup at Lincoln Financial Field. McCarthy, who previously played alongside Milton at Michigan, recalled being stunned by Milton's rare arm talent during college practices, calling him "the craziest quarterback I've ever seen."
Milton enters the starting role for an injury-hit Eagles squad following earlier NFL stints with the Patriots and Cowboys. While the Giants are favored, McCarthy and the defense must account for Milton's dual-threat ability alongside the tactical challenges posed by Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.
