A leading outlet have warned Benfica Celtic are showing "signs of life" after their convincing 2-0 win over Motherwell.
Portuguese outlet Noticias ao Minuto has warned Benfica that Celtic showed signs of life following a 2-0 win over Motherwell. Benfica scouts attended the match at Fir Park ahead of the upcoming Europa League fixture between the two sides at the Stadium of Light. While Jota's return was praised, the winger will not feature against his former club due to being ineligible for European competition.
Benfica manager Marco Silva is targeting a second straight Europa League group win following his side's 2-0 victory against Vitoria Guimaraes. Silva confirmed that team captain Fredrik Aursnes will start against Celtic after previously being benched due to squad rotation and heavy fixture congestion.
