Michael Olise’s 88th-minute goal gave Les Bleus a 1-0 victory over Belgium, while Italy thumped Turkey 4-1 on another night of Nations League action
Substitute Michael Olise scored an 88th-minute goal to secure a 1-0 Nations League victory for France against Belgium in Brussels. The win maintained manager Zinedine Zidane's perfect start to his tenure, despite France playing without captain Kylian Mbappe and making nine lineup changes from their previous fixture.
Elsewhere in Nations League action, Roberto Mancini's Italy earned a commanding 4-1 away victory over Turkey in Bursa. Alessandro Bastoni opened the scoring in the ninth minute before Davide Frattesi doubled the lead following an effort from debutant Michael Kayode.
