Jason Kelce challenges the Vikings hype despite Minnesota's undefeated start, questioning whether its struggling offense can sustain a championship run.
Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce stated on the New Heights podcast that he is not buying the hype around the Minnesota Vikings despite their 6-0 start. Kelce highlighted that while defensive coordinator Brian Flores has built the league's top-ranked defense, Minnesota's struggling offense prevents them from being true Super Bowl contenders.
Kelce noted the disparity between Minnesota's top defense and its 27th-ranked offense, warning that better opponents will eventually test that formula. Article author Chris Pownall echoes that reliance on Flores's defense makes Minnesota vulnerable against playoff-caliber competition unless their offensive consistency improves.
