Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore believes Manchester City should be expelled to the bottom of the football pyramid

Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has called for Manchester City to be expelled to non-league football if their appeal fails against their guilty verdict on Premier League financial charges. A Premier League decision recently concluded that Manchester City artificially inflated commercial revenue by £830 million between 2009 and 2018. Manchester City has since confirmed that they have formally lodged an appeal against the ruling.
Collymore argued that City should be expelled to the lowest National League division or kept in the Championship for five years. He also advocated for stripping their titles from 2009 onward and redistributing prize, TV, and sponsorship money to affected clubs.
