Rio Ngumoha explains what Mohamed Salah has told him to help ‘reach the top’ at Liverpool

Liverpool forward Rio Ngumoha revealed the key advice Mohamed Salah gave him before departing the club, explaining that the Egyptian urged him to improve his goal and assist tally to reach the top level. The 18-year-old credited Salah as the biggest influence on his early career, noting how their dynamic evolved from awe to a supportive mentorship during their time together on Merseyside.

Ngumoha, who previously became the youngest scorer in Anfield history, has tallied two goals and one assist in 35 senior appearances for Liverpool. The winger also recently became England's third-youngest player in a competitive international during a 2-0 win over Czechia, trailing only Jude Bellingham and Wayne Rooney.
