Vincent Kompany remains stable in hospital after collapsing during a Bayern Munich training session on Friday and a club chief says it will take "weeks" for him to recover…

Bayern Munich director of sport Max Eberl has confirmed that manager Vincent Kompany will take weeks to recover after collapsing at the club's training ground on Friday. The 40-year-old manager was transported to the hospital via air ambulance and remains in stable condition while undergoing medical tests following an earlier viral infection.
Kompany had recently managed Bayern's 2-2 Champions League draw against Arsenal on Wednesday despite feeling unwell. Assistant coach Aaron Danks will take charge of the team for Sunday's Bundesliga fixture against Freiburg as Kompany continues his hospital stay for further evaluation.
