Bailey, a 2011 third-round pick, played 10 seasons in the NFL, including eight in Kansas City and two in Atlanta.

Former Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Allen Bailey has passed away at the age of 37, the team announced on Tuesday. The cause of death has not been disclosed. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid offered his condolences to Bailey's family during a news conference, praising Bailey as an honest worker on the field and one of his favorite players.
Bailey was selected by Kansas City in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft and played eight seasons for the franchise before concluding his career with the Atlanta Falcons. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes remembered him as a key locker room presence and glue guy. Over his 10-year NFL career, Bailey recorded 22 sacks and 248 tackles.
