The Philadelphia Flyers have announced multiple roster adjustments, recalling defenseman Hunter McDonald from the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms and placing defenseman Cam York on injured reserve with an upper-body injury. In additional moves, Philadelphia reassigned defenseman Helge Grans and forward Jack Studnicka back to Lehigh Valley, leaving the NHL roster at 21 players.
The roster transactions create flexibility for the Flyers to potentially activate Travis Konecny and Rasmus Ristolainen from injured reserve ahead of their matchup against the Colorado Avalanche. Meanwhile, forwards Sean Couturier and Tyson Foerster are designated as game-time decisions, while York's IR designation is retroactive to October 8.
